What unprecedented consistency!
I've actually been managing to stay on top of monthly updates for like ... four months in a row ...
Let's see if I can't maintain this streak.
There's a lot happening this year. With Jaynera the Defender and Where all Roads Lead published in November and January respectively, I'm well into working on the next in installments:
- Jaynera the Harbinger
- and Hewn in Flesh and Spirit: Ep. 6 of the High Fire Saga
I'm focusing on Jaynera at the moment, making daily progress on book 2 and I've pushed Hewn in Flesh and Spirit to the back burner as my Saturday morning project - though I find I'm making equal strides on both.
I've also got another series on the go, so far entitled Visions of a Scarlet Cross.
This project is very much in the background, and I only work on it periodically when the mood strikes.
However, I've still managed get a full series outline and several quality chapters written.
Think of this series as something like Zelda x St. George a la the Faerie Queene x Lillith by George MacDonald.
Audiobooks - with two newly published ebooks, I have two audiobooks on deck to record. Which I intend to do sometime this spring, Lord willing ...
As of today both the High Fire Saga and the Cracked Altar series are in Kindle Unlimited. That will end on the 15th and both series will return to wide distribution with the first of each series free.
Speaking of the Cracked Altar series ... that brings me to the big announcement.
I've been working with a Ukrainian artist, who, despite ... adverse conditions, has been providing superb character designs for a visual novel adaptation of the Cracked Altar.
This game will be published on steam and mobile under the title of Maidendawn.
Not sure when I decided I wanted to spend my nights wrestling with python script, but that's life now ...
In all reality though this project has manifested very quickly. I expect perhaps another month at the most and I should have a playable demo. Then maybe release some six months after that.
More on that soon ...
